We left Nashville this morning with our car leading off. Instructions were given to Danos and Scott. Scott was driving and Danos was the navigator. We were heading in the wrong direction after the second turn. The other car took over and as they have a Navman. We were on our way to Waynesville in the Smokey Mountains. All going well until an hour into the drive we follow the wrong silver car off the highway. We don't realise we are following the wrong car until we get a text from Di which didn't make sense to us. So we called the other car and arranged to keep going and meet at Pigeon Forge. Anyway we stopped and got directions and ended up going on a small back road which was quite interesting. We drove through Pigeon Forge which was amazing and so was the traffic. We ended up missing the other car as they drove up to Dollywood. We then drove through Gatlinburg and into the Smokey Mountains through Cherokee and finally arrived in Waynesville. It was a beautiful but slow drive, we also crossed the Tennessee and North Carolina border. Stopped at Walmart to pick up some supplies. Absolutely humongous store that sells everything. So we all got back together at Waynesville with the other car getting there a completely different way to us and arriving 1 and a half hrs before us. We had a couple of drinks and then went into the city for dinner. A guy that was doing some work at the hotel gave us a lift and gave us a tip on a good restaurant to go to. It was beautiful I had the Trout and Scott had the crab cakes. We finished there and went up to a bar talked to a few people including a hillbilly, requested I am Woman quite a few times which surprisingly they didn't know.
