Hello!

I am finally getting a chance to write a little update from this past week. I have been able catch up on some sleep as well as get a few things accomplished while we were home this week.

Classes all flew by this week. We had our normal oral presentations in my conversation class; which is always a fun class to attend. Our professors kept us busy this week with little bits of homework in each class, but I am continuing to enjoy them and learn more each day.

The weather has finally been turning up! It has been in the upper 50's and sunny for the past few days. Ginny and I met Sean and Andrew yesterday in the Parque Principe to check it out. It is a really nice park in the center of town with lots of sculptures, trails and water features. It was the perfect afternoon to stroll around. After we got home, Ginny, Carmen and I sat down for our traditional wednesday night of watching Acustados. Its a show very similar to Law and Order, but it has become a weekly occurrence to eat dinner and popcorn while we watch Acustados and decide which spanish actor is better looking. Always a good time with Ginny, the Carmens and I:)

Tonight, a group of us girls are going to get Chinese for dinner. Both Ginny and I have been craving it pretty bad so we decided we would treat ourselves to dinner this evening. I believe we are going to hit up a movie afterwards and then see where the night takes us!

We dont have any big plans for the weekend; just sticking around Caceres. We are going on our first "excursion" with our group next weekend to Cordoba and Granada and then the following weekend we are going to Barcelona! We just booked everything for Barcelona tuesday night and I am very excited because my best friend Caitlin is flying in that weekend to spend her spring break with me (how lucky am I right?) So I am picking her up in Madrid and then we are meeting the rest of my friends in Barcelona later that day.

It will be nice to get fully back to normal this weekend and enjoy some time here before we head out on a few more weekend trips.
