Classes are currently in session! We began are first day at the University of Extremadura here in Caceres on Monday morning. After walking into town-our group from ISU caught the bus and rode the quick 10 minute trip to school. The campus here is made up of 5 different sections, spread out into larger buildings on the outskirts of Caceres. Apparently the university here is known for its vet program-one of the best in Spain. All of the students from my group are in the same classes, taught by profesors here, in classes of about 10-20 students. It is very nice to have such small classes so we can get the kind of attention we need. So far, the profesors have been great. Very willing to help and are understanding of our level of speaking. They do not speak any english which can be a bit of a challenge but I can tell that it is helping me already! My classes are Monday-Thursday, 3 classes a day except on thursday I have 2. I am always done by 2 and never start earlier than 9. Cant complain with that!

Apparently there is some holiday tomorrow so I am not sure if we will have class or not but its great to start getting into a daily routine. It is starting to feel a little more like home!
