Getting ready for Brussels!
Another week of classes is almost done. Our days seem to be flying by. Tomorrow I just have two classes and then we are leaving for Madrid at 6;00pm.
Classes all went well this week. We are starting to get into the full swing of homework and presentations. Its nice to have a little bit of work to do, not gunna lie. Ginny and I have been doing a lot of homework and research to get ready for this weekend. We've just been taking it easy at the house, and tonight we are heading into town to meet with Sean and Andrew at the library.
Our bus leaves tomorrow at 6, but we wont get into Madrid until about 9:30. We have to take the metro from the bus station to get to the airport, and then our flight for Brussels doesnt leave until 6:25 friday morning. We will be getting home late sunday night.
Ginny and I are now encountering the challenge of keeping our bags as light as possible. Shouldnt be too hard since we are only gone 3 days, but RyanAir is very particular about weight, and we dont want any extra charges. Yes, the idea of wearing multiple layers of clothing on the flight has crossed my mind. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
Brussels looks pretty amazing, but the three things that I have to check off my list are:
-Eat a Belgium Waffle
-Eat Belgium Chocolate
-And of course visit the bar with an impressive 2000 different kinds of Beer.
Hoping for a safe and fun weekend! Prayers are very welcome:)
