Before going to Fraser Island i had one night in Hervey Bay which is were my tour starts from. I didnt arrive in Hervey until Late afternoon so i just spent the night at the hostel. After a 3 hours journey on the greyhound bus i arrived in Noosa at around 5pm. The backpackers i was booked with had a courtesy bus too and from the station so it was pretty easy getting there. The backpackers was in noosaville which is just out of the centre, but is located along the river and its absolutely gorgeous!
