The last couple of days we've tried to stay out of La Ramblas more and see a bit more of the less touristy Barcelona. We went to the beach again, and went for a walk up to see some of goudi's other buildings, and took a cable car up to the top of one of the mountains that looks over Barcelona, this is where there is the old 1992 olympic pool that hangs out over the edge and has a great views of the city. It was pretty surreal swimming in it! And at least it's wat...

Yesterday, Henry and I headed in to town to see the Sagrada Familia, where we randomly ran into Matt and Tom from our topdeck tour! It was good to see people that we knew, it doesnt happen very often in Europe! We lined up for about half an hour to get into the cathedral, which is just mind blowing in both scale, and detail. Barcelona is a pretty awesome place. We caught the metro to our hotel after arriving, which was easy to figure out. However, our hotel was still a 15 minute hike up a steep hill (not the most fun with a big backpack in 32 degree heat!) Our hotel is really nice, 4 stars, swimming pool, spa and sauna, and a gym. Roses was the perfect choice for a spot to unwind and chill out. Were staying in a hotel just 50 meters from the beach and right in the center of this cute little coastal town.
