Roses was the perfect choice for a spot to unwind and chill out. Were staying in a hotel just 50 meters from the beach and right in the center of this cute little coastal town. We caught a plane to Barcelona on Sunday (no hassles this time thank god!) then we said goodbye to the rest of the group and Henry and I headed to Roses, while Erin and Mitch headed to Ibiza and Ellie and Simon stayed in Barcelona.
I had a much needed amazing sleep that night (after a 3 course meal including seafood paella mmmmm). On Monday it wasn't the best weather, so we walked to the shops and got some food for lunch and lounged around most of the day.
Today was perfect weather, not a cloud in the sky! We headed to the beach for a couple of hours after a buffet breaky that's included at our hotel, before heading on a boat that takes you around the Costa Brava coastline and stopping for an hour in Cadaques, which is a really pretty town with all white buildings with red roofs. There's a couple of nice beaches, but not as great as Rose's beaches. Good snorkeling beaches though! So we did that for a while, there are heaps of big fish that just casually swim around you, very cool! It took me a little while to get used to snorkeling again, I haven't done it in so long, and it's hard at first to tell your body its ok to breath under water haha.
We've found the beaches in Spain (and it will probably be the same for the majority of Europe) bikini tops are not a must. There are beyond tanned boobies everywhere!
