Today we walked half an hour with our backpacks to our new hotel, it was probably the longest haul of backpacking we've done yet, we were puffed, sweaty and sore by the time we arrived. We dropped our bags off and hung out around the city until the tour group arrived at 6. Budapest is pretty cool, it's got a lot of potential to be something more, it just seems a little run down. Last night us girls went across the river into Buda and drunk champagne in a really cool bar by the river while the boys stayed in Pest drinking beer and eating pizza. It's 9.30, we're an hour and a half away from Budapest. The rides been long, but surprisingly no where near as bad as Air Asia's plane trip. The only hiccup was Ellie being abused by some senile old Romanian woman haha I hope we don't have too much difficulties with the language barrier, because at least I can recognize quite a few words in French, but hungarian's totally different!
