Ios! We arrived into Ios at about 1pm on Sunday. Before leaving santorini we had a delicious breakfast at 'Mamas house', I hadn't had bacon and eggs in so long! In ios we stayed at Far Out Beach Club. We were in the camping side and our accommodation was a little tin box- an absolute hot box at the top of a massive hill. Lucky we didnt spend much time in there! We spent the afternoon by the pool relaxing- the photo for this blog- and then met for dinner at the beach club for unlimited pizza! Ios is the party island so what better way to spend the night than a pub crawl! Drinks are ridiculously cheap, and the island is full of Australians- such a good night!
We arrived home at about 6am when the sun was well and truly up and a had a couple of hours sleep before waking up stinking hot! At about midday we headed to the other side of the island for our kayaking adventure. We kayaked a fair distanced to a little cave and did some snorkelling in beautiful water. Back into the kayaks and to a secluded beach for a BBQ and some relaxation time. After a while there we headed back to the main beach, relaxed and swam some more before heading back. We met at the beach club for dinner and drinks again, before heading out for yet another pub crawl. This was an earlier night- about 5.30am by the time we walked home. A great night for our last night together!
Tuesday it was back on the ferry for a 4 hour trip back to Athens, and another sad farewell!
