Back to Athens! It was a sad farewell to everyone, but we met up for dinner for once last time before heading our separate ways. We had a relatively early night after saying goodbye and slept in so long the next day. We hadn't really had much of a break for about a month so we absolutely crashed in Athens. I finally succumbed to the sickness going around the group during Greek island hopping so spent our days in Athens sleeping and trying to recover. We made our way to the acropolis, admired it from afar before deciding I wouldn't make it up there, so went back to our airconditioned room. Athens was 43 degrees when we arrived, not the best weather for recovering, hence why we stayed in our hotel room like hermits. As you can see from the photo we made ourselves quite at home- mum you'd be proud of my tidiness!
We had one last Greek yoghurt before making our way to the airport on Thursday.
Next stop, Rome to start our 3 day Italian Adventure!
