It was very grey again today but dry and ideal for walking around exploring. We set off towards the bridge which was about 1 mile away. We passed a large cruise ship in Circular Quay and watched the Manley ferries.
When you reach the bridge it towers above you and is quite spectacular. We could see lots of people walking over the top which we did consider doing but it really is expensive.
We looked at the Opera House across the water but didn't go round to it today as we have a tour booked for later in the week.
We explored the area under the bridge called The Rocks and there was a market which had some lovely things for sale. Not at all tacky like some market stalls. In fact I managed to buy a couple of presents to take back.
After a much needed drink we made our way back towards Darling Harbour and had a meal.
Tonight we went to see Le Cirque du Soleil. I don't think I have ever seen such an amazing show. In places it was really funny and in other places I was sitting on the edge of my seat when the acrobats were performing. Only one bit had a safety mat but the things they did were really dangerous at times. The acrobats were like bendy dolls with legs over their heads and doing the splits! They performed on a small circle in the middle of the stage and there were seats for the audience either side of this actually on the stage. We wished we had sat there although some people were invited to participate at times. Mick would have loved that. We were so pleased we went and well worth the money.

Jenny I am sure that you would have been under your seat if Mick had participated with wrapping his legs around his neck!!!! If you are eating lunches that size surely even you, June, will put on weight. Notice that you are getting ready for your return home in wearing a cardigan. We are still in fleeces and layers.
Carol Sounds a great show June, I couldn't picture Mick doing acrobatics either!
