This is where Australia started. The photo is Botany Bay!
Our last morning in Sydney so we took the ferry to Circular Quay and went to the Opera House shop to but one last thing and then took another walk around all the market stalls at The Rocks.
At 12:45 my cousin collected us and all our luggage and we went off for a drive down the coast to Botany Bay. It was a bright sunny day and it was lovely there.
After a quick walk round we set off again along the coast until we came to Coogee which was another beautiful beach in a bay. It was quite busy with people on the beach as it was Saturday although it wasn't particularly hot! After a drink and bite to eat Maurice very kindly took us to the airport.
We are now at the airport waiting for our flight to depart to Dubai. It is a long flight. 9 hours to Bangkok where the plane refuels and then another 6 hours to Dubai.
