Gold museum, book exchange, and Monserrate cable car!
The gold museum in Bogota is supposed to be one of the nicest museums and all of South America and it was definitely very impressive. It was four floors and had some of the most amazing pieces of artwork I've ever seen! After the gold museum I went back to the hostel and grabbed my books to go and exchange them at the bike tour company which also had a large selection of books. It took me almost an hour to dig through all the books they had and finally find a few I could read on the slow boats to Peru. I got to the cable car about it our or so before sunset and it was definitely the steepest and unique cable car I've ever been on! There were only two carriages and as one went up the other came down, there was also a train that went up the hill as well but it was closed. :(
As well as in Medellin I got to watch the sun go down and then all of the lights of the city come on in Bogotá including a very unique building covered in LCD bulbs that made a bunch of different patterns.
