City in Lao, Vang Viene is famous for its tubing down the river. You get off at each stop by people throwing ropes out to pull you in, to party for another hour! Started at 1am till 7pm then carried on when we got back to the Irish bar. Played loads of drinking games, was such a good day but jheez i felt rough the next day! So much fun when nearly every person i have met so far were all doing the tubing the same day. Nearly lost my deposit for the tube (60,000 kip) argued for 30 minutes and got 40,000 back...messing with the wrong person! Traveling from Vang Viene to Lao capital, Vientiane. Nothing really to see here but we have to sort out our Vietnam visas as were going to stay in Vietnam for 1 month. But the roads here are ridiculous, you think you have pit holes at home, come here, you will appreciate having smooth roads. I have to travel from Vientiane to Hanoi which is in Vietnam in two days...wait for it...it's a 24 hour bus journey, kill me now!! Made my mum and dad a nice long list of stuff i want them to bring to me at Christmas, loads of comfort food and new trainers! I've had some nasty bed bug bites on my neck and armpit for the last week, so annoying, I can't help but itch.
