Jono's Travels
Today I begin my long trip home, but seeing I don't leave London until about 8:45pm, I have plenty of time to kill today before making my way to the airport. I was able to get a little sleep in this morning which was good, however I still had to be awake by 9am so I could make it to breakfast before hey stop serving at 10am. After breakfast I headed up to my room for a little to just check though my flight details and make sure I was positive about my flights and travel times to the airport etc, it also gave me a chance to check what I could do today. I had already decided to go up the towers on Tower abridge and walk between them both, but at most that was only going to take a hour, so I decided I would head down to the Natural history museum. It was a half hour walk to the museum so that was also a good way to kill some time. I headed down there and then I noticed the extremely long queue, at least a 30 to 45 minute wait to get in. I queued for about 5 minutes and the line had only moved a fraction and as it had stated to rain a little I decided to skip it and head to the Tower bridge and do that as I wanted to make sure I had at least done that. I got to the tower bridge and brought my ticket and waited for the elevator. A security guard said you can wait for the elevator or take the stairs. There were only 206 stairs so it was an easy stair climb compared to others. I headed up the stairs and as I got to the top I noticed the elevator had only just arrived with people that were waiting when I started the stair climb. I walked around and while the view wasn't that spectacular from the bridge the information that they had on the construction of the bridge was very interesting, they have also modified the floor on the bridge so you can see what's below. Natural history Museum was busy so headed to the Tower bridge to look at the towers Back to Natural History Museum
