WOAH Koh Pha-Ngan is off the frickin Scaaaaaaaaaaaaaale.

Both absolutely loved Koh Pha-Ngan. The main reason for our visit was the legendary Full Moon Party but the days and nights leading up to the Full Moon Sunday were almost just as good. Will try mention as much as I can at all that went on but majority is prob not suitable for blog readers eyes haha.

We arrived on ferry from Koh Tao 4days prior to the Full Moon party and checked into our OK hotel which we had booked 2months previously as accommodation is near enough fully booked all over the island on Full Moon Party Week. Hotel room was nothing special but we did have a pool and the food/drink were cheap and pretty good so couldn't complain. Our first day was spent lounging around at the pool and then that night we headed out to the local area and a small strip of bars for something to eat and a few drinks. The bar we ended up in was hosting a 'Hot-Dog Eating Competition' so we decided to wait and watch that. 4 HUGE blokes from Scotland, England, South Africa and U.S.A all competed in trying to devour as many 9"Hot-Dogs with baps as they could in the space of 15mins. They were all going for it, shovelling them down their necks which was pretty funny but gross at the same time. The winner was the South African who managed 19 lol! They were holding a Pint Swigging competition also but I think we had seen enough and headed back for an earlyish night.

Our second day we hired out a Scooter and explored the majority of the island. There was not a lot too see really just some nice view points that you could see the whole of Koh Samui from. We did stop off at a small driving range that J hit a few balls at, other than that just cruised around the island roads then headed back for a wee swim in the ocean. The surrounding sea is really shallow not getting any deeper than knee height until almost about 200Metres out. We went out to take some pictures in it and the water was scorching. So nice to just relax in and take some snaps of Koh Samui from a far. That night we decided to head for Haad Rin beach which is where the Full Moon Party is held to check out the scenery. We ate at a small restaurant which was very nice then hit a bar on the beach and ordered our first bucket of about 100 that were going to go through our livers on Koh Pha-Ngan haha. Whilst dancing on top of a picnic table quite late on we were greeted by Adam, Gogz and James who spotted us and that were also here for the Full Moon Party - Small World! Spent that night with them but again calling it a night quite earlyish lol and heading back to our area of the island, saving ourselves for the Full Moon in 2days time.

The next day again was just spent lounging around at the pool and then that night was the Blue Moon party which happens on every night before the monthly Full Moon party's. We have heard that the Blue Moon party's were equally if not just as mad as the Full Moon one's so were very eager to have a good time. We headed for Adam and that's hotel for some pre-beach drinks and to watch the first live games of the Premiership then it was off to Haad Rin to party. Well wont go into all that happened but had a absolute blast with everyone, calling it a night at 7am the following morning. The following day was spent Hungover with both of us not getting up until 5pm, showering and heading for Adams hotel for round 2 and more importantly the FULL MOON party.

Well again wont go into all that happened but can honestly say was the craziest night/party I have ever been to in my life. Over 30,000 partiers with face paints and luminous clothes going hell for leather was an absolute amazing experience and one I would recommend to anyone wanting to come to Thailand to try and make sure they time it so they can attend one! Was an absolute phenomenal laugh and have some amazing pictures and stories with Brishay and the 3lads which I am sure the majority of the photos will end up on Fbook as soon as we have a spare minute lol. Previous to us heading for Koh Pha-Ngan when you hear people going on about the Full Moon parties and how it is just the most mental thing you will ever experience you don't really believe them or well I didn't. Knowing now just how Mental and just how much fun they really are I can totally agree that everyone should experience at least one of these parties!

Again it was a 7am finish the following day and the rest of that day was spent again in bed Hungover. The following morning we caught our ferry to Surat Thai where me and Brishay were to part our ways for 2weeks for her heading home for Ciara and Dru's wedding and I headed for Krabi where I was meeting my new travel buddy Ian, who I was meeting in 3days time to head for Malaysia. Planned to arrive in Kuala Lumpur in 2weeks time to meet up with B again and then travel the rest of Malaysia then Singapore and leave Asia for Down Under.

Have seriously had the BEST time in Koh Pha-Ngan and as have said couple of times The Full Moon parties are the best experience and one I would recommend anyone who likes to have fun and party. Anyhoo its time for me and B to head our separate ways now and will be Me and Fatboy Cumming for 2weeks so am sure there will be a fair few funny stories I will be able to post in my Malaysian blog posts.
