After a whopping 13 hours sleep we headed out to book our overnight train to Krabi in Southern Thailand. Unfortunately the train was fully booked and we had to take a 13 hour overnight coach instead! After a 20 minute walk through Bangkoks streets and alleyways with our heavy luggage, we then waited in the pouring rain for an hour wait by a busy roadside for our coach to show up! The coach was modern and comfortable and we did manage some sleep. If only it took us all the way to our destination! We had to change twice into minivans.
