From Phuket we took a boat to the beautiful island of phi phi which is a small island with no cars.The town itself is a maze of streets filled with little shops restaurants and bars. The inhabitants and tourists are predominately backpackers and hippy travellers which give the island a relaxed but not authentically Thai fee. It reminded a little of the lanes in Brighton. Our accommodation was awful, so before even putting our bags down we went to a bar to use their wifi and find somewhere else. The next hotel we booked was expensive for what it was but the views were great and we had a balcony. The next three days were very relaxing and enjoyable. We wondered through the lanes browsing the many shops, visited other local islands including Maya beach which is featured in the film 'The beach' and also stopped off at some impressive spots to snorkel. We were both sad to leave Phi phi and a few more days would've been welcomed.
