Another holiday is coming to an end. We've left Sri Lanka in the middle of Vesak - a festival to celebrate Buddha's enlightenment. There were lanterns everywhere in Colombo and tonight is to be the height of celebrations and parades.
Our flight will take us to Kuala Lumpur for a few hours then overnight to Melbourne. We're leaving hot and humid Asia again for much cooler weather in Melbourne but will be glad, as always, to be home.
