On Monday Grant and I got the ferry over to the beach in Manly. Was a lovely day and we sat on the beach for a while, then had lunch on a picnic bench overlooking the water. We had a look round the shops too.

Tuesday we visited Darling harbour and had a walk round the shopping complex at the harbour. We had our lunch outside, found some walkers crisps which was good as the crisps here are rubbish!

Lynnes cousin Iain and his friend Dean picked us up on Wednesday and took us about an hour and a half outside of Sydney to the Blue Mountains. We saw the rock formation called the 3 sisters. We took the train pictured down the side of the mountain and did a half hour walk before taking the cable car back up to the top. can i say the railway is pretty scary as it is almost a vertical drop and we were in the front seat!

On Thursday we visited Bondi beach. Had a lie out in the sun and some lunch. Then got the bus back to Bondi Junction and had a look round the shops there.

Yesterday was our last full day in Sydney and we went and had a wander around the city centre. Went for dinner with the people we are staying with since it was our last night.

Today we have to pack and then we have an overnight bus tonight further up the coast to Byron Bay.
