We arrived in Byron Bay early in the morning of the 10th May. Was a lovely day and we headed straight to the beach for some sunbathing. Unfortunately the rain came on and so we just relaxed and watched some films in the afternoon, after our long overnight bus trip there.

On the 11th we pretty much did the same thing as it was sunny in the morning and raining in the afternoon. I also took the oppotunity to plan our route for the rest of the East Coast while it was raining and book some more trips for us.

The 12th was our third and final day in Byron Bay. It is only a small beach town and so we had a look around the shops and then did the 3km round trip up the forest to the lighthouse which had a great view over the beach and sea.
