Up very early Sun 26th Feb to experience a sunrise balloon ride over Bagan which has 1000's of Temples and Pagodas, we did the flight with Nancy (Canadian) and Ella (Brit), we've never seen so many hot air balloons (more than the Bristol Ballon Festival) the pilot Robert had very good knowledge of the area and pointed out all the Temples and Pagodas. He was also pretty good at flying the balloon (thank God) on landing the local village people gathered around trying to sell us their souvenirs as we enjoyed champagne and nibbles, then back to the hotel to pick up our packed breakfast and into a taxi to catch up with the tour at the Monkey temple up a Mountain, we missed the climb up but we also avoided the chance of stepping in monkey poo. We then made our way to Kalaw in the cooler hills to rest before the trek next morning.
