We're in a third world country with wifi to suit so sorry about the delay. Two nights and one day in Bangkok was not enough, we hope to see more of this city on the Indochina trip (Thailand,Vietnam,Loas & Cambodia) 29 days four countries phew I'm knackered thinking about it. Flew to Yangon the capital city of Myanmar this evening (Saturday)we met the Tour group three other Brits,eight Canadian's and a Swiss lady. Sunday on a coach to visit the Golden stupa of Shwedagon then a lorry up a mountain to see the precariously balanced Golden Rock of Kyaikhto. Monday a long trip back to Yangon overnight stop then up at 04:30 for 07:00 flight to Mandalay after booking into our hotel (Emerald Land Hotel) we visited Mahumuni Pagoda and other temples we finished with a sunset view from Mandalay Hill. Wednesday a river cruise to the former Kingdom of Sagiang and sunset at U-Bein bridge. Thursday all day on a boat to Bagan chance to relax and have a few beers (well I did) Friday a full day of Temples wow there are thousands they're fantastic but it becomes a bit of a blur after a while,it's been hot high 30's. Saturday rest day so guess what,we hired bikes saw a few more temples and the Museum with more stuff from temples but feet up this afternoon and we'll be in bed early because up at five for a Balloon ride.
