Yangshuo is a lovely town, where we had a cycle ride in the countryside seeing vegetables and rice being grown with the less well off still using Ox to pull their ploughs, had a nice trip up the river with great views of the hills. The town thrives on tourism, having a market and small shops selling gifts and souvenirs, so we've had to buy another bag to put all the tack in (couldn't stop Ga buying) but we did enjoy the place. Friday 12th May took coach, two fast trains and two metro's ten hours traveling to get to Hong Kong, later did the Laser Show at HK harbour and the night market where Ga found some things for her hair. Saturday 13th I bought a little something for my lovely wife's birthday, did the market (fruit, fish and meat some alive), wandered through Kowloon Park, did ferry ride, then collected our luggage and took the Metro to HK Island to our final hotel for two nights. Sunday caught the tram up to Victoria Peak but crap views as high humidity and haze, then a tram ride up and down the Main Street and finished the day with a couple of hours by the pool it was great to be able to relax.
