22nd & 23rd we stayed at Sapana Village Resort, Chitwan. Nice place the grounds are on the edge of the National Park, which we went to early Sunday morning, saw deer, wild boar, crocs, Eagles and kingfishers. Unfortunately it's the end of the monsoon season so the grass and water holes were plentiful so places for Tigers and Leopards to hide and the Rhino's had remote places to drink but saw a fresh paw print of a Tiger. A less strenuous trek today, rickety bridges and big water falls. The Sherpa's played local music (drum & Tamborine), danced with the children from the hotel and some members of our party also joined in. The snow capped Annapurna mountains were crustal clear again. John & Gail

Well this is the view we woke up to WOW it was amazing, yesterday's trek was very hard but unfortunately today's was just as hard some of us which included us two walked to a hot spring, which meant a lot of down hill steps then more uphill after we'd relaxed in the springs adding another Kilometre to our days trek. Knackered but loving it John & Gail.

We've walked to a village called Ghandruk I should have said up to because it was up the side of a mountain, over 8 thousand steps but the views are stunning, the hotel is basic to say the least but the scenery is worth it. John & Gail

Up before sunrise for our flight to Everest, great view of Himalayas poking above the clouds, we had champagne on the return to the airport. After a swift breakfast a rough 8 hour coach trip to Pokhara to start our trek tomorrow. John & Gail.
