After our brief liaison with the heights of the pylon lookout on Friday, we decided to go a little higher today with a trip up to the top of the AMP tower. From here we could see all the way out towards Circular Quay with the Harbour Bridge and Opera House in one direction, Darling Harbour in another and the Olympic Park way out in yet another direction. Even mum made it to the top, although there was no way we were going to get her any nearer the edge of the glass!!

After all that excitement in the afternoon we had a chilled out evening as we took up position underneath the bridge on the opposite side of the quay from the opera house, and watched the changing colours of the 'sails' as the sun set behind us.

Tomorrow we are taking the ferry over to Taronga Zoo to see yet more animals caged up!
