A sunny day at last but the swell was high and this is the location of the highest recorded surf wave of 100 feet! After fuelling up which was the most bizarre process involving somebody going to the local petrol station and asking them to turn on the pumps and staying there to guarantee payment we set off with two reefs in the main and 20 knots at the entrance. Quickly the wind died and we eventually ended up motor sailing until it picked up towards the end of our journey. This is a major fishing port with pleasure boats going to the local islands and a tiny marina. We are rafted out on to another boat. Excellent meal last night "cataplana" which was a shell fish stew with prawns, lobster, crabs, mussels.....
