We decided to delay our start from 4am to 5:30 as the fog was thick and sailing in the dark and fog trying to avoid lobster pots did not look like much fun. It was foggy for the first 6 hours and no wind all day so motored with all detectors switched to full power. We saw the normal collection of dolphins and sun fish before the visibility improved. However it was grey all day until we got back to land. Figurero is a pretty place rather spoilt by big hotels on the sea front. The landscape is now long sandy beaches and dunes, not that we saw them until late this afternoon.
