Paul, Bernie, Alison and MB are in the tender and want to fish for about 5 hours. Fully equipped, they head off to the tuna farm. We already mentioned that the locals have been catching tuna, the latest reports are 80-250 Kilos. Therefore, our expectations are high.
As we will not be back for dinner, Garnaut has agreed to be the pizza delivery man on the jet-ski. He will deliver dinner at 7pm along with wine and beer. It is very pleasant as the sea is dead calm.
We 'chum' with sardines, and fish with two large rods and floating baits. By the time it gets dark there are seven local boats doing the same, but noone catches anything. One local we befriend says the best time is 4am to 6am. Bernie and MB decide to give it a go in the morning.
They arrive at around 3.30 am the next day in the dark and it is too deep to anchor so they drift and chum again. By the time the sun comes up there are about 20 local boats fishing seriously. Noone catches anything again, so the boys don't feel bad, full points for trying.
We are now heading back to Montenegro some 150 nautical miles, which we will do over 3 days.
