We now need some R and R, the 'Victoria Golf Resort' is 6 star at 3 star prices as it is now off season. It is surrounded by about 8 golf courses and very close to the beach. The weather is foul but we find plenty to do, including laundry and a superb massage at a special price. There is also great food and wine. On Monday 10th November, I flew into Bilbao, Spain to meet Ged Hart, who had been traveling Portugal waiting to meet up with me. We hired a 7 seat Mercedes van and drove to Biarritz, France to pick up my surfboard and golf sticks.
