We arrived in Whakatane today after a 6hour bus journey here and was greeted by my dad bearing a fishing rod, as he decided to get a quick fish in before we arrived, no such luck though! we are staying with my dad for the next week and see some sights of the surrounding areas, also taking advantage of the free hospitality they are kindly offering! Arrived in Auckland early afternoon from 2 flights and having not slept in about 28 hours!!
