Arrived in Roturua to the smell of rotten egg! nice! The geothermal lakes and sulphur pools make Rotorua stink of this eggy smell. Rotorua is also the Maouri capital of NZ. Arrived at what was supposed to be our hostel on friday in Taupo, but was told some divvy had double booked!....all was good tho as we were sent to their sister lodge, a nice little place down the road! Kia ora (hello), Arrived in Napier on wednesday afternooon and met a kiwi who was tryna persuade us into doing a bungy while we're in NZ. We might...not sure, apparantly you've got to if been to New zealand! Staying for 3 nights at Wallys backpackers, owned by a nice english guy, but full of germans. So far we've checked out the aquarium and saw few sharks and crocs...and new zealands own kiwi! pretty cool. Currently writing this with a bit of a hangover afte...

Arrived in Gisborne off the bus and got picked up by a very quirky lady from the hostel. The hostel is an old nuns convent thats been converted, its pretty cool. As for Gisborne, unless ya wanna surf all day there isnt a whole lot to do, nice enough town but bit quiet! So, going down to Napier tommorow, shoudl be good! Got loads of pics to put up but not had a chance to yet because it takes forver for them load onto the blog! hopefully do them soon.
