Whilst staying in Hobart we did a few little trips around Tasmania, a couple we did just us two, borrowing Christinas car, and a big 3 day one with Norm. We drove down to Bruny Island with Norm, once again, in the big orange van. We had to get the ferry from Kettering, which takes about 15mins or so. Once on Bruny, we drove from the north of the island to the south, stopping at quite a few places along the way that were nice spots, or had a nice lookout. An hour-and-a-half from leaving Sydney we arrived in Hobart, Tasmania. Australia's second oldest city and with only a population of 200,000 it was a bit of a contrast to Sydney. We were greeted almost immediately by Sue at the airport, and within the space of half an hour from leaving the airport we'd drop our bags off and were sat in the Alley Cat pub being treated to a cold beer and pizza!
