On the 15th we were making our way down to Phuket ready for our week on Ko phi phi. Our first journey was slightly hairy as with backpacks on our backs we made our way on the back of scooters to the main road. It was a bit wobbly!!! We caught the bus and seemed to be very lucky as the was a group of 10 people at the bus stop who had been there since 9 waiting for a bus - they are meant to be every hour!!! The bus came 2 minutes after we arrived We arrived in Surin Beach at about 3pm and got a taxi to our hotel. Very nice bit of luxury after the basic khao Sok for 3 days. We headed off onto the beach and did a bit of sunning and swiming - the sea was lovely. That night we had dinner on the beach - very nice it was too.
