The 3rd was go slow day - we arrive in Ayuthuya at 5am and headed off to the hotel to get some sleep. It was 40 degree's and toooooo hot!!!!! We headed off to look at some ruined temple's - the picture of the budda's head above is one we saw! They are some of the oldest temples in Thailand. That afternoon saw a three hour journey to our hotel in Kanchanaburi a Songthaew - like a truck - not too good on the old back!!! We had a quiet dinner and an early night

On the 4th we headed off to the Jeath War Museum and then onto our floating raft house for the day. What a treat - we chilled out as a small boat bpulled the raft house up the river. It was not a small raft either - shower, kitchen, huge sleep area, sunbathing deck, dinning room come disco!! It was great - there were a couple of temples to visit on the way and then some very nice food for dinner.

On the 5th we headed back to out hotel via Erwan National Park we visisted a 7 level waterfall which was interesting It has fish in the pools which came and nibbled at your legs. Needless to say Jacq spent two minutes in there and got out!!!! Neen managed to rip his shorts going down a rock slide!!! Jacqui found it funny
