On the 16th we heade off to catch our ferry to the island of Ko Phi phi. This island was hit badly by the tsunami as the middle of the like a funnel from one side of the island to the other and it is at sea level. The ferry trip across was very nice and we arrive at 3.30pm. Someone from our hotel met us and took our bags up to the hotel throught the village. Our hotel is on the hillside overlook the quieter bay of the island - it is very beautiful. We didn't do too much today as we explorered the village and had a nice dinner out.

On the 17th March we headed off for a walk on the beaches - we got to see a camera crew coming to the island to film a nice bit of a bollywood film!!! Nice dancing. We didn't get to swim as the tide had gone out too far. We had a nice dinner but spen the rest of the night trying to find a bar to watch the Ireland vs Italy match. Nenn stayed out to watch the rest of the games but it was too late for Jacq who headed off to bed.

On the 18th we headed off on an hour walk to Long Beach at the south of the island were we had a swim and a bit of lunch. Neen has signed up to do a Scuba Course so had a nice bit of homework to do
