So, we're on a sneaky mission - Jamie thinks we'll be flying into Iceland on Tuesday, one day after he arrives, but we've booked an early ticket and leave tomorrow.

So, we're off to a Motel near Baltimore airport for convenience sake. The AirBNB we stayed in whilst in DC was ideally situated and really clean, before we leave we stop at the Star and Shamrock bar for a couple of bagels - last night was awesome but we're ravenous. It's pretty tasty and we grab an Uber after saying thanks to our AirBNB hosts wife and her crazy son who likes to break things.

We arrive around 3pm to the laziest receptionist ever, so lazy she's stretching whilst checking us in - no hello, no smiles, nothing, just a "in my own time" attitude as she slithers around the office doing everything but, check us in. With little or no information about brekkie, check out and other standard normal shizzle we run off to the room and crash - sod her we're so excited to surprise Jamie!!

We loved DC, our fondest memory above standing outside the White House before the storm broke.
