We pack up and head to 30th street station Jacq booked front seats on the top deck it's only a 4 hour journey this time and we're at DCs beautiful Union station by 4pm.

We make tracks on Uber to our Airbnb meeting Robbie and his wife who own the place and another family who are staying - Britton, Beth and their daughter Bella.

Nice bunch from Florida on a break themselves - they are really friendly and big into their history.

We head out for a bite to eat to a local Mexican - fajitas and margaritas go down well but it isn't long before we are hitting the hay, shattered and in all honestly in need of a couple of rest days.
