Day of fun!!! We get up early and head out to Jasper library to get cracking on email joy! We are so lucky this campground is actually used by loads of Elks and their calves and as we walk around they are literally everywhere - huge things! We head to Metarie hot springs first thing, wondering how natural they actually are as we've often found hot springs that are not. On route we meet a family of Bears with two little Cubs by the roadside, everyone is stopping for pics - we got some and a video - the Bears were very obliging! So, we set off today towards Valmont thinking we'll stop at Mount Robson overnight - the views are getting much more mountainous as we pass the Monas mountains and Mount Robson itself, the highest of the Rockies, is only 60km away.
