We plan to use up our remaining bus ticket and see Sosilito Island which as a trip is included in our package also.
We head in early and go in search of our tour bus deciding to firstly stop near the Mrs Doubtfire house - it's a trek up San Franciscos' steep hills but we get to Steiner Street around 11am and see the gorgeous house used for that amazing movie! It's really sad as people have obviously left tributes outside written on trees and stones - the owner is fairly nice about it and apparently designated that area for fans.
We walk across about half a mile to Lombard street and jump on the cable car briefly on the infamous Crooked Street - if you que at the start of this line you'll be there an hour and pay $6 each but if you jump on at any stop on route it's free and quick to board - we took the car back then to Powell and Market street to catch the metro to Church and 27th street for a look at St. Paul's church - where Sister Act was filmed. Sadly, it's closed but we walk around the building regardless and then catch the metro to Balboa park where Adam meets us with his most recent guests Jacqs aunty Leila and uncle David. It's great to see them and a welcomed sight from home.
We go to a Safeway grocery store, buy tonight's dinner and the guys get a weekly shop sorted. Then it's back for a few beers and nice meal with the selfie stick in action for a group shot including of course the lovely Ruari.
