Last day in Romania today, loads of twisties and wonderful scenery again. We went out of Maramures and back into Transilvania thorough a great mountain route. Got to Cluj around 6 pmand went for a tour around town. Found this pizza place that made me the worst quatro stagioni pizza ever! Ah well, had a great time up to now, so shouldn't really complain. We did the touristy bit today: got a taxi to the Mocanita train station, and took the steam train up into the mountains. It's the CFF route - the last forest railway route in Europe. Aparently until the late 1980's they were still building the steam locomotives, and they were running on 2000 miles of railway tracks. To this day there are still about 600 miles left of forest railway tracks that go up into the mountains. We got to the station around 8, got our tick...

Twisty and tiring day today: mountain roads with loads of twists and holes everywhere... the scenery though? absolutely amazing. We're heading back home from today: Constanta was the mid point for this trip, and today we left it heading towards Piatra Neamt. We followed the SatNav for a while until we realised it's going to take us via a route that would involve a ferry... We decided to take the ferry, instead of turning around 60 odd km on ourselfs-after all it is an adventure and we will be trying all means of transport we can use...We got to Galati and passing great Danube Delta scenery...

Quiet and lazy day today: we went for a walk on the beach in the morning - ze count dipped his feet in the Black sea finaly, there are very few places on this planet he hasn't been to now... Got back to the hotel, and I was by the pool while Doug did some work and cought up with emails and work. Went for another stroll in the evening and found a great restaurant - Marco Polo. I ordered a steak, and Doug ordered a seabream. I thought it was a bit odd when they did...
