Hi all

Back on the road after Hunter's operation. All is well, although doctors order are to 'take things easy' for the next few weeks. (yeah right, more luck winning lotto than making that happen!).

So we drove back to Grafton, picked up the caravan (thanks John) and skipped up to the Gold Coast for a few days.

Due to Hunter's operation, we decided to forgo the theme parks as he couldn't, or shouldn't go on most of the rides (i think Cooper was secretly glad as he had an 'get out cause' didn't need to think of an excuse to chicken out of some of the rides), Thus, for most of our time we made use of the caravan park's pool/water slide and the heated spa.

Whilst we were in the area , we decied to visit Suncorp Stadium to watch the footy where Brisbane were playing the Rabbitohs. Suncorp stadium is a great stadium and it was good to be part of the 40,000 crowd, of which I would say half supported Souths!

Hunter's blog

I went to the footy at Suncorp Stadium to see Rabbitohs v Broncos. The Rabbitohs won. I went on a train to Roma station to get there. There was 40100 people there.

Cooper's blog

We wen and stayed at the Gold Coast. Friday night we went to Suncorp stadium (footy) to watch Rabbitohs v Broncos. The score was 12/ 26. I was going for the Rabbitohs. I went on a train to Brisbane, I liked it, as well as the spa and pool.

PS. Thanks again for all your well wishes on Hunter's speedy recovery. He is already back to normal and quiet time is just a distant memory.
