So here we are at the Roman festival and a funny thing happened on the way to the Forum, as Frankie Howard might say. Roger has been in envy of all the men wandering about in the roman costumes but managed to confine his enthusiasm to eating at one of the stalls - in the photo. So we are in Leon after another hot day's walking - some through countryside but about half through the burbs of the city. On the horizon are mountains and some of them are snow covered so I know we are in for some tough up and down walking days in the next week.
