It's now true that we are halfway there to Santiago. There was no marker at all but because a lot of people join the Camino from so many points all over Europe it might seem parochial to just celebrate those starting from the French Pyranees. We are already in bed. It's Saturday night and the sub is still shining and there are children playing outside our window . However would have guessed the Camino would mean such early nights. We've rarely been up after 10.30 at night and we sleep until 7 or 8. We do seem to be eating an awful lot too and so much bread, donuts, cakes and bean stews.
