I really wish I was writing this after a warm bubble bath and about to get into comfortable double bed. However we are sleeping on the top bunks in a dormitory with 100 other walkers. It has been a long hard and hot walk today and different parts of me hurt at different times which is a good way to cope with pain. Is the photo upside down? It's supposed to be of Roger overlooking St Jean Pied do Port - the start of the walk on the French side of the Pyranees. It's just over a week until we go and getting a bit concerned about the lack of training, But it's a pilgrim trail andmaybe we don't want to to be too easy. I also wish I had been a bit more diligent about the Spanish classes. Just about to finish the Just Giving site so that kind friends might give us a bit of support.

It's a month until we go.
