We fell in love with Solitaire. A 36' Cape Dory sailboat. Cape Dory's are real serious ocean going sailboats. She will take us anywhere we want to go. She had a clean survey and successful sea trial. We should be closing on her by 12/19. We'll be spending Christmas on her!

Palacios seems to attract serious sailors. Charl, the guy that helped us with the sea trial has sailed around the world. He's totally deaf, he is the first deaf person to sail around the world. He can read lips and is a great guy. Today, we went to the Palacios library and met a lady who had also sailed around the world.
