We went to Mountain Home, Arkansas to see my Dad and Del. We had two wonderful Thanksgiving dinners! Their hosipitality was great. We then drove down to Kemah, Texas and are looking for a sailboat to buy. When we got to Kemah, we tried really hard to find a motel that would take Skylar. We couldn't find anything that didn't want to charge an extra $200 a week for her. So we ended up staying at Houston's Bates Motel along with a bunch of Katrina refugees. They're really nice people, but Pam has been thinking about going shotgun shopping again... The sailboat shopping is moving along. There are a lot of saiboats here, but finding the one that is just right for us is taking a little work. But we are having fun and we have lots of time to look - what else do we have to do? We met a fellow cruiser today in one of the marinas. We were talking to him about what day of the week it was. He said that when you are a cruiser the two most popular questions are "What day is it?" and "Who cares?".
