The 20th of June was to be a good day. I woke up and by 9:30am had received an email from the company I had applied to the day previous, inviting me to an interview that day at 2pm. Excited, I collected my thoughts and before I knew it, it was time for the interview.

I headed off to their office, and at 2pm sat down and had an interview with the CEO. The interview went very well, and they asked if I would like to spend the next couple of days on a test trial to see how things went. I agreed and headed off - the day about to get better again.

At 4:30, Scott and Lauren returned from Airlie Beach for their final night in Australia. I was excited to tell them of my news and looking forward to spending the evening with them. Lauren had also arranged to catch up with a friend called Charlotte whom she knew from back home. We all went to the suburb with the rediculous name of 'Indooroopilly' and met up with Charlotte.

We ended up staying till around 8:30, having a great laugh with Charlotte and her friends - we will definitely stay in touch. After this, we headed back to the hostel to chill out, have an evening meal (thanks again Lauren ;)) and play some pool.

I headed to bed, but unfortunately was rather nervous about the important day ahead of me, and was completely unable to sleep, just about the worst result possible. Still, I had finally enjoyed a day in Brisbane again!
