As of February 6th, something very important has occurred, that only comes about once a year... For the next three months, I am offcially 5 whole years younger than Howie. Hoorah!

We celebrated his 31st birthday in style, by cycling into town and eating a lot of curry. The curry place we wanted to go to was closed so we found another one on Gouger Street to serve our purpose. I can attest that the garlic naans were excellent. Back home we celebrated further by scoffing almost an entire carrot cake that had been made by my fair hand.

So, in order to honour the occasion, I have written a short poem:

Today is Howie's birthday,
How super and how fun!
Let's get out the M&S cardigan,
'cos now he's thirty one!
