Our last night in the camper was spent in Katoomba, way up in the Blue Mountains and what a fantastic place it was. We went to Echo Point and saw the Three Sisters, then we parked up and spent the evening walking along a trekking path to see some wonderful falls and cascades, it was absolutely beautiful - pictures just don't do it justice. Back in Sydney now in a fantastic hostel ready for the long journey home that starts tomorrow. We dropped our camper off lat...

Ooh, look at those mountains... Aren't they blue?! Yes indeed, the Blue Mountains are within our very grasp as we've crossed three states to get to this very point. We're currently in a town called Bathurst that sits on the west of the Blue Mountains and tomorrow we will be crossing the mountains over to Katoomba, where we intend to see some fabulous scenery, then will head on over to Sydney on Sunday morning to drop off the camper van. Finally - New South Wales! A short blog as I'm about to run out of laptop battery. We're in our new camper and we've driven through Victoria, checking out Ned Kelly's Last Stand in Glenrown, before driving over the border into New South Wales. We're having a great road trip and we've got about 800km to go until we hit Sydney. Albury isn't great. Don't come to visit especially.

With every era of greatness, there is a timely ending. Today, I fear, may well be the last blog entry from Sydney; at least for a long while, anyway. And while there is much to look forward to in the coming days (Harry Potter at the IMAX on Friday. Well, he won't be there, obviously, but the film will be), the time has come to start to pack up our little bags, wave goodbye to the busy junction outside our humble abode, bid fare-thee-well to the enthusiastic owner...
